History

The name Lee's International, by the Chinese community known as Chun Hsiu Man, has built up a considerable reputation over the years. The director of Lee's International, Mr. MT Lee has over 40 years experience in the world of Asian delicacies and was one of the first persons who introduced frozen Dim Sum in Europe. He also has a certain contribution to the knowledge of many Top Chefs at home and abroad.Since 1975, Mr. Lee already specialized in making English sandwiches, cakes, pastries and a variety of Asian specialties. He was particularly active in the Chinatowns of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. In 1979, Mr. Lee started producing Dim Sum on a small scale in Egmond and Alkmaar. Later in Wijk aan Zee and Beverwijk. In the year 1984, Mr. Lee even asked to provide training in Utrecht and Rotterdam. Many of these students are now successful entrepreneurs.

Lee's family business International manufactures frozen Dim Sum for over 30 years on a large scale and is the first Dim Sum producer who has obtained an EC recognition based on the hygienic production conditions. In 2009, Lee's International converted in a B.V. Mr. Lee is still active as restaurateur / consultant for many famous hotels and restaurants in China and Hong Kong, where his passion for Asian delicacies to good use.
